Used to be known under the moniker midnite lily, I've turned anonymity inside out and now blog by my real name, Zona Marie.

Born and bred in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I'm a 30-year old bohemian-chick wannabe, g33k gurrl, daughter, sister, wife and all round shapeshifter. I speak English, Malay, inklings of Cantonese and un poco Espanol.

I'm now a permanent Sydneysider since 2007, who uprooted because I found the Aussie love of my life lurking online. We've been married for a year now; no kids, just a little furkid named Keisha.

As a wage slave, I was a TV director/scriptwriter/producer in Malaysia and for a brief while in Indonesia, and then journalist when I first arrived in Sydney. These days, I'm a web producer, finally embracing my g33kdom.

"Vivo nuevo" means alive again in Spanish. I knew that a new blog with new start means re-living my online world, so it was only apt to give it a fresh name. "Vivo" is nonetheless a great way to say "I live" and to represent my blog in that way. So to old and new readers alike, bienvenidos! Selamat datang!
