Go Rate-a-Guy

Aptly for International Women's Day, I've decided to review WomanSavers.com - World's Largest Database Rating Men. While it's a wholly informative site containing advice for abused women from a psychotherapist, medical advice and message boards, it angles itself in a rather light-hearted manner as opposed to the usual serious psycho-babble. And what amused me most from their site was the "Rate-a-guy" feature.

Search the database for the name of a guy you've dated, or rate one of the scumbags you know to forewarn others about him - everything from mentioning his ego, his lack of commitment, if he's cheated or even his cleanliness habits - you can fill it out here for everyone to see. Right at the title bar you'll discover that it's the "Infidelity & Cheating Men's Database". Not that I'd have anyone I'd want to rate that way, Lee would have gushingly good reviews instead. Heheh... But I can see why women need a site like this. It's the sweet-talkers, playboys and Don Juans of the world that give men a bad name and this site helps single them out in some way.

Hate my entries?

It's easy to say I like people being honest to me. Most importantly, my partner. But after blogging for six years, I'll tell you it's still hard for me to swallow some of the comments given to me here in my entries. Only because some of them come from the heart, and it feels like a stake driven into me when someone doesn't understand it or I've been seemingly accused for something. I do try to be diplomatic, in here and in real life. And although I've been told numerous times not to take anything personally, especially since it's from "strangers", it's not easy. But let's face it, as much as anyone tries, we can't please everybody.

Anyway, PayPerPost's idea of having you review my entries is just an extension of those comments already open to you. It would also give me a feel of what you like about my writing or the content of it being delivered, while being paid. So if you think it's worth sending more brickbats this way, click on the PPP buttons. Thanks!
