Artsy doors
Our domain, where my Darling Street photowalk begins. Did I exit the left or right door? Artsy doors From where I am, there's two wharfs I could walk to... The one on Thames St, or all the way to the end of Darling Street.
Balmain has loads of pubs, and its a commonly known happening drinking district. Of course, it stops where the residents begin. Holy Shit! This is the shop front of where we live... =P Holy Sheet, from across the street. Nice rows of 1800 townhouse shops. St Augustine Catholic Church on Jane St, just off Darling St
The church est in 1848, has a high ceiling and rustic interior. All around Balmain, you can find plaques like this describing the houses or buildings' historic value. This North East side of Darling St heads down to the wharf. See the Harbour Bridge peeking from behind the buildings? The opposite direction are endless rows of shops, pubs and buildings leading into another suburb, Rozelle
