Idiots, I tell you.
One of the guys I used to date said "So, you finally got what you wanted" in a very sarcastic manner when I told him I was getting married. It turned out, much later, that he had been waiting for me to date him. -.-
Actually, you should have said, "Well, even if I was marrying for a roo and emu combo (or not), you would be the last person I'd ever consider getting 'shackled' to."
