I miss...
Sydney's blue, blue skies.
Cooking in Lee's kitchen.
Having Woolly's right next door.
Keisha batting my face with her tail. tsk
Babysitting Ciara.
Watching the dogs run free in the park.
Starting up a conversation with strangers, in queues.
Sydney's harbour views.
Lee.
I'm bidding my time very restlessly, before the next film project starts. I'd been nursing bad cough and cold since Sunday. Apparently cause from too much wine and champagne from a friend's wedding Saturday night. My dad said,
"You're not used to Malaysian weather any more."Right. Is that what a short five months does?
If you haven't already noticed, I've started blogging with my real name. I was going to stop blogging. But I can't, really. Time will tell if I decide to keep the midnitelily.com domain. A bit hard to just get "rid" of it after more than six years of attachment.

28-yr old nocturnal over@nal geekette Malaysian.

I'm suffering from a pimple break-out since I came back. The weather is just absolutely horrendous! :(
Oh, I just did the transition from blogging under a pseudonym to using my real name. But my old nick is still kinda stuck to me. Hahaha.

I miss Sydney everyday, but I think I'm in a situationwhere I can't really go back ... not yet anyway!

i miss a lot of stuff too BUT the one thing i dont miss is my skin peeling horribly off my face. so painful!!! my skin doesn't seem to like sydney weather. what do u do to help prevent it? i've tried all sorts of moisturisers, drunk tonnes on water - but still the same. :(
Yvy | May 21, 2007 2:50 PM
dabs: =(
yvy: i didn't have any problems. i rarely use any chemicals or even make up ordinarily anyway. but when my skin does look dry (not flaky), i use bodyshop's body butter. i think a slight oil base works better than water base cos it doesn't evaporate in their climate. but this isn't for the face lah.
(gawd, that felt like some beauty commercial script. bleh)
i think perth's summer was worse than sydney's for me. sydney's summer feels more humid.
