Why is it easier to help others, and not yourself?

A job offer comes by me, but it gets passed on to one of the girls I met through the "friends ad". She's baffled why I've helped her to look for a job. What's wrong with passing on an opportunity? I believe in carrying kindness forward. ^_^ I've done it back home. Why shouldn't I do it here?

Australian guys haven't got class.

How do you define "class"? Apparently the Aussie girl who said this was told Danish or European guys take better care of their women. I think European men are overrated. But women generally want to trade up anyway.

Australian "fat free" claims are superficially healthy. It's loaded up with sugar and other preservatives instead.

This American girl obsessed with food chemistry can tell you nothing labelled "fat free" here is healthy. So much for what I thought. Even these Kiwi girls can prove Ribena isn't healthy.

That was pointed out to me by a Kiwi and Aussie girl last night. Not the first time I'm told that, but I like to use having grown up on Sesame Street (and other ubiquitous American TV shows) as an excuse. This isn't put on or fake, and I can definitely babble in Manglish any time. Or maybe it's become more obvious after hanging with my new American and Canadian friends. Heh.

Why are there more Australian blogs about making money than personal blogs?
