Keep! Unfortunately, I don't have any of my old books any more cos we've moved houses a lot. So they've either been thrown, sold, or given away. *pouts*

Keep dust-jacket or toss it?
Wa'ffor throw away lah?

Read with dustjacket or remove it?
Without. Having one on irritates me and I can’t focus on the book.

Short story or novel?
Both ^_^

A Collection (short stories by same author) or anthology short stories by different authors)?
So far, I've only a collection of short stories by Roald Dahl and Norman Mailer respectively. I usually leave anthologies for poetry.

Stop reading when tired or at chapter breaks?
Chapter breaks. I'm somewhat anal about the idea of stopping mid-chapter. Besides, why else would there be chapter breaks? =P (Other than as story breaks lah)

Buy. I love to have my own collection.

Both. You'll find amazing gems in second-hand book stores here in Australia.

Browsing and book reviews. Recommendations only from people who share similar tastes in books.

Tidy ending or cliffhanger?
Cliffhanger. But not the kind that are book sequels. More the kind of cliffhangers that make you think what will happen to the character after.

Night time reading ^_^

Standalone or series?
Standalone. The only series I've had were books as a kid... Choose your own adventure series, Nancy Drew, Enid Blyton...

Favourite series?
The "Choose your own adventure" series as a kid. I haven't been reading any book series since then.

Favourite book of which nobody else has heard?
I think I tend to pick book prize winners.

Favourite books read last year?
Amitav Ghosh's Glass Palace.
