Gone beady
One of the other crafty things that we bought at Spotlight, Birkenhead Point the other week were more beady things and a cool set of six pliers to complete my jewellery-making toolbox.
I've been collecting and buying beads from Singapore, Philippines and Petaling Street back home but haven't sorted them out or attempted making any until this arvo. I know I've said I have tons of writing projects in tow, but I just want to keep my fingers busy without having to think. =P
I kinda missed those days where I used to keep myself busy with crafty stuff like making friendship bracelets, necklaces and paperclay dolls for door hangers. So I thought why not start again. Besides, this would definitely be cheaper than going out shopping for earrings all the time.
I love the red cloisonne beads (bottom centre in photo) that I bought at Spotlight Singapore. I forgot to make them into earrings earlier so I could've worn them with the cheongsam at the wedding. I've also got another set of those beads in black. I want to get more of the other shaped ones later, although the ones I've seen shaped as fishes were a bit strange.
