Canberra wedding
It was a lovely modest garden wedding, with the exchange of vows performed by a marriage celebrant at the groom's parents' homestead on a hill overlooking the Monaro highway.
The groom, Pat Cambell, is one of Lee's friends and a cartoonist at the Canberra Times. The bride is a columnist at the same paper.
It was a fairly short wedding, with vows exchanged and a few readings from the bible and other forms of literature, sharing about love and marriage.

Everyone then headed out to the Commonwealth Club for the cocktail reception. I never stood so much during a wedding before. Too familiar with the loud 10-course Chinese wedding dinners, this was obviously a nice contrast. I also got to meet another Canberra cartoonist, David Pope, and his wife, Carolyn.

Cartoonists don't smile. They make funny faces. Heheh...
