Surly adjuster

Getting to adapt to my new environment is like a fish out of water. Or rather, a cat out of her tower. I'm not the only one trying to get used to things around here. Keisha's been a bit of a snob (as overheard from Lee telling Keisha to be a bit more sociable) and rather cranky since I arrived. Lee's said its not because of me. But I'd beg to differ. Who wouldn't be if she lost her space on the bed, and the couch for her warm belly rubs, and had to share her owner's attention with someone else.

I took a walk down to the Balmain wharf yesterday evening, and it had a nice view of the Harbour Bridge. Mort Bay Park, just beside the wharf was full of dogs and their owners playing catch. That made me homesick for Toffee. Especially when an overly friendly retriever kept running up to me to play fetch with her slobbery ball. Dogs knows no strangers.

My brother told me that Toffee threw up on my bed yesterday. She's definitely upset with me. *whimper* Either that or she was just marking her territory from my brother. He was going to move in to my room.

Oh yeah, that's one hostile kitty 8-)

mrrreeoww... u shud hear her purr...

Me being the resident cat psychologist - my only advice is...don't approach her. Let her come to you and suss you out on her own terms. Cats are like that. That's why Wally adores me. When we met, I didn't rush up to him and try to smother him with attention. Now the little monster won't leave me alone...

teehee... keisha's not like that actually. she loves smothering attention. she just didn't like me stealing it from her owner. =P i finally discovered the secret to her heart tho! feed her! and bring in leaves from outside for her to play! lol.. now she likes me!

Bribery! Ahahahaha. Pity it won't work on Wally. :p He won't be hand-fed. Na-uh. You have to put treats with his regular food. Glad you and Keisha are finally getting on. I want more of her BIG BIG EYES pictures! (Wally's beginning to look like Puss in Boots now. Manja kitty)

i didn't hand feed her. just fed her when her owner neglected to. lol. as of today, she's now my shadow. even stalking me to the loo!
i'll try with the photos, but she doesn't like to keep still. =P
