While waiting out the rain over lunch, I witnessed a simple romantic gesture. The heavy downpour caused deep puddles everywhere, and a couple standing at the covered sidewalk were pointing out directions to each other. It seemed they were deciding how they were going to get across without getting their (her) feet wet. Eventually they started walking, and when they approached a puddle, she hesitated. He didn't. He promptly lifted her up over the puddle, and they were on their way. I couldn't help but smile at that. It was quite amusing, but awfully chivalrous.

I always love rainy days.
