midnite lily's: KL-SG-SYD p1

So I'm finally here in Sydney. A little disoriented. Could be the jet lag. But I haven't had enough sleep the last three days prior anyway, so the hours never mattered. I just keep waking from slumber asking myself, where am I? Instead of my sweetie Toffee licking me awake, I'm getting stared at by a black beady eyed persian. Hee... Keisha's a darling. It's gonna be a bit before I get used to being here. It's surreal. I probably need to get pinched awake. Been travelling too much.

I spent a nice afternoon with YM before my flight out to Sydney. I took a bus down to Singapore early Thursday and met up with YM for lunch. We dropped my bag off at her apartment and gallavanted around Little India. My first time seeing the sights in that part of the island. She took me to Ghaangothree for some chaats. Never had them before, but it was awesome! Especially the pani puri and dahi puri *drools* I love how I can share being so adventurous with her about food. I wished I was going with her to Vietnam next week! Anyway, we worked lunch off by walking all the way to Bugis Street for some window shopping after. Another first in Singapore for me. Goes to show how much I haven't seen of that tiny island.

It was then it was finally off to the world's biggest island.
