Many people do or say things to earn others' respect. Some say things to get what they want. Others speak without thinking.

I never believed in saying or doing things for other people. I do it for myself, and I strive to do things for God. And sometimes, in spite of my failings, I do things to earn only my parent's respect. No one else. I am human, and I err. There is no point in holding a human being in high esteem, when you will only be disappointed. Only God is perfect.
