Anyway, the launch started out with YB Dato' Seri Shahrizat's arrival. I didn't see her, but they made such a bang with a marching band. I thought a traditional kompang was the usual affair...? The flourescent stickers made them look cheesy tho'.

So there was the usual suspects, hanging out at the bar... all hungry and thirsty! We couldn't get in to the Italiannies' store because they had more than the RSVP-ed guestlist. Very Malaysian right, when ppl hear got free food and alky. Hmm... So we just fixed ourselves at the bar.

When TV Smith arrived, we both took our mandatory alky's photograph! Hahah...

We spotted two more bloggers lurking about, and I finally got to meet the adorable KimberlyCun & the 1337 kungfu geek, Shaolin Tiger (who were incidentally supposed to be at The Homecoming bloggers meet the day before).

By this time, everyone was hungry... STARVED more like it. And I really thought we were going to be quite unfortunate without food at the bar. But when the food came out one by one... It came in ABUNDANCE! O_O And you guys should already know by now how BIG Italiannies' servings are.


We had lasagna, calamari salad, TWO tiramisu cakes (the REAL thing with the amaretto liqueur!), garlic bread, a smashing-licious cheesecake, stuffed mushrooms, those awesome grilled chicken with cream... It was bliss! ^_^

We obviously couldn't handle everything on our own so I got my bro & his friends stuffed too. It's servings for sharing after all!

Of course, the free-flow liqour was made possible to our tiny corner at the bar by my favourite TGIF's Everyday's a Friday Cheer Crew guys Shri & Zul! Love y'all! You definitely are my bar angels. That Lights of Havana was awesome! ^_~
