Fresh Strawberries & Cream
Met muteaudio & nazrul at Bangsar just now. And while weaving through the pasar malam, I couldn't resist the sight of fresh Cameron Highland strawberries! So I ended up buying 3 trays for RM10, and made way to the Grocer to buy thickened cream...
This calls for my Aunt Viv's strawberries & cream recipe! I've posted pics of it before while I was in Perth last December. But here's fresher pics ^_~
After washing them, pluck the stems out. And sacrifice the smallest piece to Toffee... =P She loves hovering around the kitchen island for scraps! Hahaha...
My Aunt says its always best to cut 'em up into bite sizes pieces.
After that, place them into a bowl and sprinkle lots of sugar and mix them.
Then, add thickened cream and mix 'em all up! But careful not to mush or dent the strawberry chunks up.
Voila! *slurrrp* It was gone within 30 minutes of making them. My mum very nearly licked the bowl clean too! Hahahah... =P
