midnite lily is a media-obsessive, over-analytical geekette with a penchant for working with celluloid and the boob tube (read, TV). Being a self-proclaimed technosexual magnet, she has no qualms admitting she knows how to work the PC better than the guys in her office.

If it deems fit for you to say that I don't look like your average Malaysian, it's because my ethnic descent is quarter Chinese + quarter Thai + half Filipina + a dash of Spanish blood = but 100% born and bred in Malaysia.

Why midnite lily?
Because I have been dwindling the midnite, graveyard blog shift since 2001... because it is my most conscious hours of thought where I reel over-analytical, inane thoughts. And I think it's quite obvious I love lilies too! If you think this handle is pretentious, then you won't like the name my parents blessed me with. Ha-ha.

What's being over-anal?
I love philosophy and Rene Descartes described it right when he said "Je pense, donc je suis" (I think, therefore I exist). So blogging is both a hobby and a therapeutic space for me to express these thoughts - in an over analytical sense through observations, experience and principles of my own and people around me. And I'm very particularly anal about them!

The Love story
The "Online Relationship" category on my blog will take you to snippets of my little love story that began in 2006. Lee and I had been reading each other's blogs for over three years, which we found through Blogshares. It wasn't until April '06 that we started talking to each other. First through email then subsequently on YM and Skype. It was love at first click... Heh... The first time we ever met in person was when he came to visit me in Malaysia in August, and I was then in Sydney with him for five months. Now, we're engaged and on our way to getting married.
